Mission Statement: To enlighten and inspire members of local faith communities and institutions of learning with a vision & conviction of the dignity and beauty of marriage, family, and human life at all stages through greater exposure to informational activities.
1st Choice Life has a set of guiding principles that will be agreed to by all volunteers. In summary, we believe that the moral climate in human sexuality and the sanctity of human life requires great reflection and guidance.
1st Choice Life will be in union with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church in these matters:
- Human life is of immeasurable value because we are created in God’s image and called to eternal union with Him.
- Life begins at conception. It should proceed unhindered toward maturity and be protected until natural death.
- Marriage is ordained and intended by God to be a lifelong bond between one man and one woman.
- Conjugal love is open to fertility and is rightly ordered only between a husband and wife for purposes of strengthening the marital union and for procreation.
